From Modern to Traditional
Katherine was an important part of my daughter Laura's wedding at Cave Springs Winery in Vineland. It was a glorious day, the venue was lovely, everyone looked elegant and the classical music was beautiful! Katherine's advice for the repertoire was very much appreciated and helped keep everyone on track, from the grandparents processing to The Flower Duet by Delibes to the bride processing to Canon in D by Pachelbel. The guests as well as the staff at the winery commented on the high quality of her performance!

A Splendid Afternoon...
Last Saturday afternoon, I threw a seventy-fifth birthday celebration for my mother. It was an elegant affair, located at a private estate, overlooking the Credit River in Mississauga, Ontario. As the guests sipped wine and sampled various hors d'oeuvres Katherine Ramseyer played the baby grand in the Great Hall. Katherine's spectacular playing was a crowning jewel of elegance at the party. My mother was thrilled and the other guests were visibly enjoying her magnificent playing. She played a selection of music which included Chopin, Schubert and Brahms. A friend of the family, who has been a professional jazz musician for more than fifty years remarked, "I thought I was hearing a recording upon entering the party." With pleasure and confidence, I highly recommend Katherine Ramseyer.

Setting The Right Tone
Katherine and I met on the occasion of my husband's Memorial Service. It was a short notice situation. I was impressed with her sensitivity to my situation and how accommodating she was. She listened to my requests and respected my wishes. I gave her suggestions from an Oscar Peterson album and she prepared all the selections in the brief time available to her. Katherine proved herself to be a very versatile musician, playing hymns, gospel music, jazz, and classical equally well, transitioning from one to the other with ease. An accomplished pianist is able to do this - Katherine is that person.
