As an accompanist, Katherine plays for RCM exams for voice, instrumentalists, and ensembles of varying sizes.

She was staff accompanist at Conrad Grebel College in Waterloo, served as the studio and recital accompanist for the Bel Canto School of Music in Milton, Ontario. She has accompanied students and professionals in recital at Queens University, Wilfrid Laurier University and in auditions at the University of Toronto and The Julliard School music programs. She has been the regular cantata accompanist at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Etobicoke and was the accompanist for the children's musical "Brilliant the Dinosaur" at the Meadowvale Theatre, Mississauga. In her role as Music Director at Martin Grove Baptist Church in Etobicoke, she accompanied and directed soloists, small ensembles and choirs.

I have had the pleasure of working with Katherine Ramseyer over the past many years. Katherine is an absolutely brilliant accompanist, highly skilled pianist and all-around top-tier musician. My students that have had the pleasure of working with her all speak very highly of her and her services. I have also worked with her in my capacity as an opera singer, and she is my 'go-to' accompanist of choice. Her professionalism, musicality, approachable personality and depth of understand of classical music (to its most senior levels) have made her a great asset at any performance - recital, exam or concert. I appreciate her keen ability to catch musical mistakes during rehearsals and therefore provide musical coaching and refinement to help vocalists polish songs prior to taking the stage. Katherine provides solos of a high artistic and technical facility. Comfortable in playing classical, church canon, gospel and jazz, she arranges, rehearses, conducts and accompanies various soloists, duos and choirs.
